    Distribution Of Ration Token For June Commences In Tamil Nadu


    Chennai: The Tamil Nadu authorities has began the distribution of ration tokens for getting important provides from ration outlets throughout June and can proceed this until June 4.

    The tokens are delivered on the doorstep of the ration cardholders.

    V. Balasubramanian, a small-time businessman from Chennai’s Ashok Nagar, informed IANS that the ration token has reached his residence, and the distribution of ration will begin from June 5.

    A complete of 200 tokens per ration retailer will probably be accepted per day and the distribution would begin from June 5, a press release from the state Civil Provides Division stated.

    Toor dal will probably be distributed solely from June 7, the assertion added.

    The tokens can have a particular date and time when the cardholders can gather rations from their respective outlets. The customers will even be supplied with the additional rice introduced as a part of Covid-19 reduction measures.

    The Tamil Nadu authorities had earlier supplied the primary installment of ₹ 2,000 to each rice ration cardholder of the state as a reduction measure towards Covid-19. Chief Minister M.Ok. Stalin had introduced a complete of ₹ 4,000 to every ration card holder and it’s anticipated that the federal government would quickly be asserting the second instalment.
