Take 1/2 cup kokum in a non-stick pan, add three cups of water and 1 cup sugar and blend nicely. Cowl and cook dinner for 15 minutes till kokum turns tender. Cool it down and grind with sufficient water to make a easy paste. Now add 1 tsp cumin powder, and 1 tsp black salt, combine nicely. Your kokum focus is prepared. Add three tbsp of kokum focus in a glass, add ice cubes and chilled water, stir nicely and serve. (Picture: istock)
