    Taj Mahal, Crimson Fort & Different Centrally Protected ASI Monuments To Reopen From June 16


    As per an Archaeological Survey of India order issued on Monday, the Taj Mahal and all different centrally protected monuments, museums, and websites, which have been closed round two months in the past within the gentle of the second wave of Covid-19, shall be reopened on June 16. 

    “Contemplating the prevailing scenario, it has been determined that every one the Centrally Protected Monuments/Websites and Museums (underneath ASI) shall be opened from 16.06.2021,” MoS for Tradition and Tourism Prahlad Singh Patel stated in an order.

    An ASI official stated guests will be capable of e-book entry tickets on-line, whereas including that no offline reserving services shall be accessible. 

    ‘Applicable tips and SOPs issued by Union and states governments, ministries and departments shall be scrupulously adopted whereas regulating the movement of holiday makers’, the order stated. The ASI order has assured that the opening of the monuments shall be in strict compliance with the chief orders issued by authorities.

    “We’ll keep social distancing among the many guests and sanitization of the monuments premises shall be carried out thrice in a day. The physique temperature shall be checked by way of a thermal thermometer. Moreover, the footwear of the vacationers could be correctly sanitized,” stated Dr Vasant Kumar Swarnkar, Superintending Archaeologist, Agra Circle ASI.
