On Friday, BTS was introduced as being one in all three South Korean nationwide icons alongside Namdaemun (South Korea’s first National Treasure, constructed within the 14th century), and Yi Sunsin, a 16th-century Korean admiral and army common who is thought for his successes towards overseas invasions.
Certainly a proud second for ARMY, a fan took to Twitter to share a screengrab from the occasion with the caption, “Our boys @BTS_twt proven as the principle consultant of South Korea even on the Olympic opening ceremony. It is certainly the nationwide pleasure to have them to symbolize South Korea.” One other consumer tweeted images of the celebrities, saying, “It is certainly the nationwide pleasure. The image and movies from the opening ceremony that includes the Bangtan Boys have now gone viral on Twitter.
This comes solely in the future after WHO Director-Common Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus congratulated BTS members on their appointment as South Korea’s Particular Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Tradition. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are the members of the group.
On Twitter, he wrote, “Pricey @BTS_twt Namjoon, Jin, Yoongi, Hobi, Jimin, Tae & Jungkook, congratulations in your appointment as #SouthKorea’s Particular Presidential Envoy for Future Generations & Tradition! A well-deserved title for a bunch who use music & lyrics to deliver hope & therapeutic to the world.”
In the meantime, the boys proceed to rule Billboard charts with their outdated and new tracks.
