Saira Banu will get discharged from hospital; Household pal Faisal Farooqui says she is ‘doing nicely’ and ‘resting’ – Instances of India

Veteran actor Saira Banu has returned dwelling after being discharged from a hospital right here, shut household pal Faisal Farooqui mentioned on Sunday. The 77-year-old ‘Padosan’ actor, who misplaced her husband Dilip Kumar in July, was admitted to the Hinduja Hospital, a non-COVID-19 facility, in Khar on August 28 following breathlessness, hypertension and excessive sugar.

“Saira ji is doing nicely. She’s discharged and is again dwelling. Resting. Thanks to your prayers,” Farooqui advised PTI.

On Thursday, a hospital physician had mentioned that Saira Banu has been recognized with a coronary heart downside — acute coronary syndrome.

Saira Banu’s husband and display icon Dilip Kumar died on July 7 on the age of 98 after an extended ailment.

The couple, who acted collectively in a number of movies, together with ‘Sagina’ and ‘Gopi‘, acquired married in 1966.
