Akshay took to his social media handles to share the information of his mom’s demise. He wrote, ‘She was my core. And right now I really feel an insufferable ache on the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world right now morning and bought reunited with my dad within the different world. I respect your prayers as I and my household undergo this era. Om Shanti.’

Lots of his pals and Bollywood counterparts like Ajay Devgn, Nimrat Kaur, Vikas Bahl, Jacqueline Fernandez, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and others took to their respective social media handles to mourn the lack of the actor’s mom and share their condolences with the actor and his household.
Aruna Bhatia was protecting unwell since the previous couple of days and was hospitalised within the ICU. Akshay, who was capturing in London, had rushed again to Mumbai as quickly as he bought to find out about his mom’s deteriorating well being situation.
