New Delhi: In wake of the upcoming Guru Nanak Dev’s beginning anniversary, Pakistan on Tuesday requested India to reopen the Kartarpur Hall from its aspect and permit Sikh pilgrims to pay a go to to the holy web site of Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib, PTI reported.
On the eve of the 550th beginning anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan had inaugurated the Kartarpur Hall, as per the International Workplace. Nevertheless, months after the opening of the Kartarpur Hall, a coronavirus pandemic hit the area thus resulting in the closing of the hall.
Since March 2020, the second of Sikh pilgrims to Pakistan by way of hall has been suspended in view of the pandemic, and later Pakistan put a journey ban from folks travelling from India after the surge within the covid-19 circumstances was reported in April 2021.
“India is but to open the hall from its aspect and permit pilgrims to go to Kartarpur Sahib,” a press release of the International Workplace was quoted by PTI in its report.
Pakistan is wanting ahead to internet hosting devotees from India and world wide on the event of Guru Nanak Dev’s Birthday celebrations from November 17 to 27, 2021, the International Workplace mentioned.
“Pakistan expects that India within the spirit of cooperation would permit pilgrims to journey by means of the hall to go to Kartarpur Sahib,” the assertion additional reads.
